Job description
Job purpose
Deliver assigned port engineering and development work packages with full ownership of design coordination, procurement support, contractor control and handover. The role goes beyond the former entry-level Project Engineer scope.
Work-package delivery
•Manage assigned engineering packages end to end under the Project Manager’s oversight: scope, schedule, budget and risk.
•Prepare scopes of work, technical specifications, bills of quantities and tender technical evaluations.
•Support feasibility and FID documentation, constructability, value engineering and investment project interfaces.
Site supervision and quality
•Coordinate consultants, authorities, contractors and operations on design, permits and site access.
•Inspect site works and verify quality, HSE, method statements, progress quantities and payment recommendations.
•Lead testing, commissioning, punch lists, handover, as-builts and asset documentation for assigned packages.
Project controls and improvement
•Maintain project controls: programme, cost forecast, change log, risk register and weekly progress reporting.
•Support port digital systems and process improvement where related to project delivery.
