Job description

1.  Job Purpose

This position monitors all the inbound & out bound stock movement consisting of all Feed / RM / PM / Spares / Misc receipts, Internal transfer to end user department, monitoring the receipt of finished goods from CPP and sub sequent transfer to Depots. This position holds the overall control of inventory movements within site with the support of inventory controllers of each sub department.

2.   Main Tasks & Accountabilities

Inventory Management:

• Monitor the daily receipts with proper GRN & transferring of goods with proper request from end user department. 
• Closely monitor & coordination across Procurement / Farm / CPP / Demand Planning / Depot to have proper stock movements 
• Involving in Annual Financial Audit / Any other audit related to inventory. 
• Ensure adequate processes for storage and security of stock so that loss due to spoilage/pilferage is reduced/negligible

Track inventory flow:

• Implement process flow to track Supplier Receipt (GRN) – Transfer to End user – Receiving FG’s from CPP – Transfer to Depot

Prepare Documentation:

• Implement processes for managing inventory documentation 
• Ensure accurate recording of quality, quantity, grade, type, style, or any other relevant characteristics of the inventory as mentioned in the inventory documentation management plan 
• Plan and conduct physical audits of stock to identify and address shrinkage due to loss or theft 
• Ensure stocks are periodically reconciled

Administration & Cost-Effective Planning

• Review the HSSE related documented information (Retained and Maintained documents) to ensure department is ready for any forms of external or internal audits related to OHS and Environment. 
• Can perform effective Cost-Benefits Analysis and cost-cutting measures.

Other Tasks:

• Maintain a process for returns 
• Observe correct stock receiving & issuing protocols 
• Complete all necessary stock takes 
• Have a working knowledge of ERP to ensure accurate stock management 
• At all times comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements 
• Assists in other departments as needed 
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs

4.   Person Specification  (Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience)  
Education Level –    Minimum Requirement  

Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration

Professional    Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management / Finance / Operations management Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred • Certification in supply chain preferred

Work Experience:

• Overall experience of 8 years or more managing inventory for an FMCG company. Experience in dairy products will be preferred.

Job Specific Skills:

• Intimate knowledge of key cost drivers • Experience with WMS is essential. 
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods 
• Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports 
• Expertise in directing, managing and coordinating logistics, warehouse and transportation activities preferred 
• Strong collaboration skills, across the business, at various levels of management 3 
• Financial awareness to understand and interpret numbers; Excellent written & verbal communication / presentation skills 
• Team player with excellent motivational skills

To be based in Al Sunainah Office and travelling to all depots in Oman
