Financial Accounting Team Lead

Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis.
Review accounting transactions and entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.
Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data and information for reporting purposes.
Assist in developing and implementing accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including audit preparation, documentation, and responses to audit inquiries.
Monitor cash flows and forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements to support operational needs and capital expenditures.
Monitor bank account activity and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to address revenue recognition issues and ensure accurate reporting.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
Carry out any other activities as and when required by the reporting manager.

Qualifications:

Education Level – Minimum - bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent.
ACCA certificate will be advantageous.
