Job description

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals and increase market share in the wholesale segment.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive sales growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships with wholesale clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with key accounts to maximize profitability and sales volume.
  • Ensure timely and efficient product availability for wholesale clients.
  • Coordinate with marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to wholesale clients.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on wholesale performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare regular wholesale forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with overall department objectives.
  • Analyze market data and customer feedback to understand trends and preferences.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
  • Carry out any other activities as and when required by the reporting manager.

Qualifications:

  • Education Level – Minimum - bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, agriculture, or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in wholesale, preferably in the food industry (fruits, vegetables, dates), including 2 years of experience in a lead role would be preferable.

Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of agricultural market dynamics and trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
