Job description
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals and increase market share in the wholesale segment.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive sales growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with wholesale clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with key accounts to maximize profitability and sales volume.
- Ensure timely and efficient product availability for wholesale clients.
- Coordinate with marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to wholesale clients.
- Assist in tracking and reporting on wholesale performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
- Prepare regular wholesale forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with overall department objectives.
- Analyze market data and customer feedback to understand trends and preferences.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
- Carry out any other activities as and when required by the reporting manager.
Qualifications:
- Education Level – Minimum - bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, agriculture, or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in wholesale, preferably in the food industry (fruits, vegetables, dates), including 2 years of experience in a lead role would be preferable.
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of agricultural market dynamics and trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
