Job description

Role Objective

Reporting the Head of Department, the staff shall manage sales of the company’s products to B2B accounts, including HORECA, Bakeries, and FSD. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales volume and revenues through positive planning. Deployment and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings. Responsible for monthly and Yearly Stock forecast for sales in his channel.

Areas of responsibilities

  1. Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
  2. Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  3. Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet
  4. their objectives.
  5. Discover the new opportunities and develop the new markets.
  6. Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  7. Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
  8. Resolve any issues and problems faced by retailers and distributors and deal with complaints to maintain trust and relation.
  9. Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  10. Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  11. Developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients that bring in the most income for the company.
  12. Addressing and resolving issues between distributors and their clients and ensure the best attention to them all the time.
  13. Acting as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams.
  14. Supervising the area account managers and train and develop the team to achieve their goals.
  15. Train and develop the key supplier’s sales team to ensure the better service and performance towards their customers.
  16. Communicating and collaborating with the advertising, design, marketing, sales, and logistics departments to ensure that the customer needs are met.
  17. Initiate innovative promotion ideas, communicate with key retailers and implement.
  18. Manage in-store marketing campaigns such special displays, sales promotions and in-store branding.
  19. Manage listing of new products with key retailers and ensure the supply through Key suppliers.
  20. Compiling reports on the account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders.
  21. Developing a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions.
  22. Negotiating contracts with key retailers and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client and long-term goals.
  23. Managing the collections of key accounts and ensure the timely payments
  24. Address the day to day issues of key clients and internal team.
  25. Preparing weekly sales report and presenting the team performance to the head of sales. Works with the entire team to achieve the goals.
  26. Responsible for company Finance in terms of Receivable, Outstanding, credit limit, credit days and minimize ageing or bad debt.
  27. Support the sale staff to concentrate on increasing brand recognition in the market.

 

Education and Experience

Minimum Bachelor in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing / Bachelor in Marketing/ Commerce/ Economics.

Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing function of a manufacturing organization, preferably in the FMCG categories.

Special Skills and Knowledge:

  1. Strong business acumen with strong writing and communication skills.
  2. Proven successful track record of sales in an FMCG category.
  3. Excellent knowledge of local market and consumer business.
  4. Strong people management, negotiation, and planning skills.
  5. Excellent time management skills.
  6. Good command of English and Data Analytics using MS Excel.
