Job description
1. Job Purpose
Admin Lead is responsible for processing and carrying out all transactions relating to visas, permits, licenses, and registration, pertaining to employees, vehicles and liaising with various Government Departments and Agencies to successfully complete the tasks and activities.
2. Main Tasks & Accountabilities
Task Description
Public Relation management • Acts as the diplomatic representative in managing government stakeholders.
• Support the managers in managing work force issues, building trust and executing company policies in a professional manner.
• Pro-actively manages manpower and Labour court disputes, and challenges accordingly.
• Act as a key focal point for all governmental and employee related issues for the Company.
• Responsible for all Environmental, legal and Industrial permits.
• Able to conduct inquiry and handle legal matters that include representing the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
• Liaison with internal and external legal providers to achieve successful agreements.
• Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
• Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
• Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the Company or Government agency. Adjusting actions in relation to other’s actions.
• Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Provide advice or counsel employees, mediate disputes and manage conflicts.
• Working closely with the management team on key organizational projects with governmental parties and stakeholders’ involvement.
• Drive localization initiatives and building company image externally.
• Supporting when needed to source key position in line with needs.
Other Tasks • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Perform all the other tasks and activities as assigned.
Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environment • Responsible and be in alignment with the safety rules and procedures as per MAZOON QHSE Policy.
• Ensure all relevant quality, health, security, safety, and environmental policies, procedures and controls are adhered to so that employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality service and a responsible environmental attitude can be guaranteed.
• Ensure that incidents and hazards are reported in a timely manner and reduce consumption of natural resources to assist in protecting the environment and ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.
Be a Team Player • Effective communication within and outside the team.
• Create a supportive environment for the team members.
• Contribute to the team, letting others know information that may be useful or important.
• Help to create a fun, supportive work environment.
3. Main Contacts and Working Relationships
Internal All Department Heads and Line Managers.
External Stakeholders, customers, agencies etc.
4. Person Specification (Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience)
4.1: Education Level – Minimum Requirement • Bachelor Degree in Public Relations, Communications or a related field/ 12 class with +12 years’ experience.
4.2: Professional Qualifications
• Background in researching, writing and editing publications.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
4.3: Work Experience • Overall experience of 8 years or more in roles that are responsible for HR functions in an FMCG company/agribusiness. Experience in dairy products will be preferred.
• Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print).
• Strong understanding of the Middle East culture
4.4: Job Specific Skills • Intimate knowledge of HR function and its impact on other departments.
• Capacity to create and implement PR plans at a macro level
• Ability to deal with operational challenges/employee concerns.
• Financial awareness to understand and interpret numbers; Excellent written & verbal communication / presentation skills.
• Team player with excellent motivational skills
4.5 Generic Skills • Must be alert, strive for accuracy, and have ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment, be a self- motivator, and attention to detail.

5. Position Location
• To be based in Muscat Office and travelling to all depots in Oman
