Job description

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and other documentation required for tendering purposes.
• Prepare technical and commercial evaluation report of all tenders and make recommendations on contract awards.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flows, and costs.
• Prepare progress reports, cost forecasts, and final accounts.
• Administer contracts and resolve contractual disputes.
• Review and negotiate variations, claims, and change orders.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.
• Ensure liaison with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project legality, payments and quality standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Liaise with clients to identify their needs.
• Estimate quantities, costs and time scales for material and labor
• Prepare tender and contract documents
• Identify and weighing up commercial risks
• Assist in providing maintenance costs of specific buildings, quotations & invoices
• Submit regular budget reports weekly, monthly & Yearly.
• Follow building/any maintenance regulations and health and safety.
• Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets.
• Keep track of construction materials and inventory.
• Utilize software to calculate, record, and track inventory and estimates.
• Analyze completed projects to determine Return of Investment (ROI) and compare costs.
• Regular site visits are mandatory to follow up Projects progress and as and when required by line manager.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
• Carry out any other activities as and when required by the line manager.

Qualifications

• Education Level – Bachelor’s degree in quantity Survey or equivalent. 

Experience

• Minimum - 4 years of experience in a similar function.

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as MS Office and industry-specific software such as AutoCAD, Primavera.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Understanding of engineering science and technology.
• Knowledge of building and construction.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English Languages.
