Job description

1.  Job Purpose    
This position monitors available filling and packaging materials and other supplies to ensure continuity of operations for different product lines in the CPP. The incumbent is required to optimize inventory control procedures, inspecting levels of business supplies to identify shortages and ensure adequate stock for all production lines. The main purpose of the position is to proactively reconcile inventory for all filling and packaging materials and other supplies, monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory, analyzing data to anticipate future needs, highlight issues related to stock levels and suggest possible solutions to the management
2.   Main Tasks & Accountabilities
Task    Description
Prepare Documentation    •    Implement processes for managing inventory documentation
•    Ensure accurate recording of quality, quantity, grade, type, style, or any other relevant characteristics of the inventory as mentioned in the inventory documentation management plan
•    Plan and conduct physical audits of stock to identify and address shrinkage due to loss or theft
•    Ensure stocks are periodically reconciled
Controlling other Materials    •    Ensure optimum levels of supplies including filling and packaging materials for sustained production
•    Define reorder level and lead time based on experience and coordination with other departments
•    Report incoming materials to stock receiver, and issue for production to stock issuer on a timely basis
Health and Safety    •    Understand and ensure meeting the obligations of health and safety requirements of employment legislation.
Team Building     •    Effective communication within and outside the team 
•    Create a supportive environment for the team members
•    Contribute to the team, letting others know information that may be useful or important
•    Help to create a fun, supportive work environment
People management and reporting responsibilities    •    Ensure accurate and up to date, daily, weekly, monthly records as required by the management. 
•    Ensure tasks are understood by the team members, and performed responsibly and diligently
•    Help others in the team if needed; Support relief staff in their duties
3.  Main Contacts and Working Relationships
Internal    CEO, Chiefs, Head of Departments.
External    Vendors, Suppliers, Media agencies etc.
4.   Person Specification  (Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience)  

4.1: Education Level –    Minimum Requirement    •    Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business administration/supply chain management
4.2: Professional    Qualifications
    •    Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
•    Certification in supply chain preferred
•    have a valid driver’s license
4.3: Work Experience    •    Overall experience of 4 years or more managing warehouse operations for an FMCG company. Experience in dairy products will be preferred
•    Strong understanding of the Middle East culture
4.4: Job Specific Skills    •    Intimate knowledge of key cost drivers
•    Experience with WMS essential. 
•    Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods 
•    Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
•    Prior project management experience required
•    Through knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, accounting standards and established rules and regulations
•    Knowledge of the financial systems and procedures required in a FMCG/manufacturing company
•    Expert knowledge of accounting packages like SAP, Oracle or equivalent
•    Working knowledge of MAPICS or similar ERP system and HFM Consolidation
•    Proficient on Microsoft packages with advanced spreadsheet skills (report formatting with automation/macros, data mining, functions)
•    Financial awareness to understand and interpret numbers; Excellent written & verbal communication / presentation skills
•    Team player with excellent motivational skills

5.   Position Location  

•    Based in Al Sunainah.
