Job description
Job Purpose
This position is responsible for managing the catering, building maintenance and cleaning activities for the facility. The role involves supervising cleaning and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
The incumbent is expected to oversee facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs, determining and scheduling repairs, renovation projects, waste reduction improvements and safety inspections. The main purpose of this position is to oversee catering, building cleaning and maintenance within an annual budget sanctioned for the purpose. The role involves negotiating with outside vendors for supplies, repairs, and other measures
Main Tasks & Accountabilities
- Direct maintenance of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management.
- Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment.
- Ensure facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
- Ensure facilities maintenance work follows safety standards, conforms to specifications, and work orders are tracked and completed within the budgeted guidelines.
- Oversee coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, parking program and facility expansion.
- Oversee building projects, renovations or refurbishments ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and heating, are well-maintained.
- Negotiate with vendors to procure housekeeping and office supplies at competitive rates.
- Ensure adequate stock of housekeeping supplies to maintain agreed service levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Responsible for monitoring the quality of the food and service.
- Monitoring the quality of the product and service provided.
- Provide good quality food within a budget and maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction. Typical activities include:
- Planning menus.
- Maintaining and ordering supplies.
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are strictly observed, recorded, and archived.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
- Perform all the other tasks and activities as assigned.
Education Level – Minimum Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Proficient in MS Office
Professional Qualifications
- Technical training in factory/plant maintenance.
- Facilities management certification preferred.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
Work Experience
- Overall experience of 6 years as facilities administrator responsible for managing the premise for an FMCG company. Experience in dairy products will be preferred.
Job Specific Skills
- Intimate knowledge of building maintenance and cleaning.
- Capacity to implement support function plans at a micro level.
- Established credentials in managing large facilities and ability to deal with operational challenges.
- Financial awareness to understand and interpret numbers; Excellent written & verbal communication / presentation skills.
- Team player with excellent motivational skills.

Position Location
• Based in Al Sunainah office
• Travel domestic when required.
