Job description
Job Purpose:
The Communication Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing internal and external communication strategies. This role involves crafting high-quality content, managing public relations, supporting media engagement, and enhancing the company's brand image through consistent and strategic communication efforts. Additionally, the role involves overseeing social investment initiatives, including community engagement and stakeholder communication.
Key Accountabilities:
Communication Strategy Development:

Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the company’s reputation and public image.

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure effective communication strategies.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between communication efforts and business objectives.
Social Investment Communication:

Develop communication plans to support social investment projects and initiatives.
-
Engage with community stakeholders to foster positive relationships.

Highlight the company’s social investment efforts through press releases, social media updates, and reports.
Content Creation & Management:

Create, edit, and proofread content for press releases, newsletters, website updates, and internal communications.

Maintain consistent messaging across all communication channels.

Develop creative content tailored to various stakeholders, including employees, partners, and the general public.
Media Relations:

Build and maintain relationships with media representatives and key stakeholders.

Prepare media statements and coordinate interviews with company spokespeople.

Monitor media coverage and address inaccuracies when necessary.
Internal Communication:

Develop and execute internal communication plans to keep employees informed and engaged.

Support the development of internal newsletters, announcements, and updates.
Event Support:

Support communication efforts for company events, or corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Coordinate with event planners to ensure communication aligns with event objectives.
Reporting & Analysis:

Track and report on communication activities and their outcomes.

Analyze feedback and media coverage to measure the impact of communication strategies.
Collaboration & Communication:

Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:

3 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, or related fields.
