Job description

This position holder is responsible for processing and carrying out all transactions relating to permits, licenses, Visa, Tickets, registration and liaising with various Government Departments and Agencies along with any administrative duties as well.

  1. DETAILED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Liaising with the government officials to understand the regulatory and documentary requirements
  • Advise and follow Omanisation norms.
  • Payment of all the government fee using company account
  • Maintain all visa related documents of all the expat employees
  • Following, renewal, maintain all company documents.
  • Communicate with all employees and their management for all government requests.
  • Coordinate with all agencies for processing work visa
  • Coordinating with Staff regarding personnel issues related to governmental applications as required
  • Communicating with Governmental entities to issue licenses and other related documents as required
  • Ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational health, safety and Environment.
  • Ensures all statuary licences and permits are valid
  • Manages all office facilities requirements, furniture, printers, paper re-supply etc.

Education Level –    Minimum Requirement Diploma in Public Relations / Bachelor’s in public Relations added advantage

Overall experience of 7 years if Diploma holder and 4 years if Bachelor holder

  • Good connection at various ministry offices in Oman
  • Understanding of rules and regulations related to employment of local as well expat employees.
  • Knowledge of ROP norms for different types of visa processing
  • Excellent use of business language and concise writing style
  • Ability to provide internal and external stakeholders with professional, clear and concise business communications
  • High standard of accuracy
  • Strong researching skills
  • Ability to produce concise reports and memos under tight deadlines
  • Good understanding of met industry and its operations
  • Financial awareness to understand and interpret numbers; Excellent presentation skills
  • Team player with excellent motivational skills
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Technology proficient
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Both English and Arabic)
