Job description

General Purpose

The Talent Management Officer will support the company’s talent management efforts, specifically in the areas of recruitment, learning and development (L&D), performance management, and succession planning. The role involves ensuring alignment of talent strategies with business objectives, managing processes, and supporting the overall development and retention of talent within the organization.

Main Accountabilities

Recruitment:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating the onboarding of new employees.
  • Support in job postings.
  • Help maintain recruitment records and follow up with candidates.

 

Learning and Development (L&D):

  • Assist in creating and implementing an annual training plan, based on training needs assessments and business goals.
  • Help organize training programs, workshops, and development initiatives throughout the year.
  • Gather feedback from employees and managers to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain and update employee training records.

 

Performance Management:

  • Work with the current performance management process to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Assist managers in collecting feedback and tracking employee performance.
  • Monitor the process to ensure timely completion of reviews and address any issues or bottlenecks.
  • Provide administrative support for performance improvement plans and career development discussions.

 

Succession Planning:

Assist in developing a training plan for successors to address competence gaps.

 

Experience

0 to 1 year of relevant experience in Talent Management is required. Candidates with prior internships in Talent Management are highly preferred.

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, or social sciences.

Know-How

  • Willingness to develop a strong understanding of talent management, including recruitment, L&D, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Ability to create and implement an annual training plan based on organizational needs and employee development goals.
  • Awareness of emerging trends and best practices in HR and talent development.
